Shannon here. I grew up in South Dennis and spent my childhood walking the flats of the Bay, exploring the Natural History Museum, and visiting The Herring Run. Although I moved away as an adult I have come back most summers and always aimed to stay in Brewster on the Bay.

The cottage name comes from a very special place. I have a horse farm in Florida and lost my beautiful horse, Jackson. His registered name was ''Wish Me Luck Mister''. My horse farm is named Wish Me Luck Farms and I thought it should
carry over to the cottage.

When I'm on vacation I want to feel comfortable and for me it starts with furniture and bedding. The couch and chairs are very comfortable. The two arm chairs rock and swivel.
I've made sure the bedding is cozy as well and we have a wide variety of pillows and bedding to layer as you like.
My favorite thing about the cottage is our yard. This oversized wooded lot is private and quiet. I love to sit out back and read or relax. You'll feel like you have the Cape all to yourselves.

I just love Brewster!
On the Cape it starts and ends with beaches for me and Brewster beaches are amazing. If you haven't walked the flats at low tide, put that on your list for your next trip. The low tide on the Bay goes out for miles. My kids love walking the flats and schedule our days around when the tide would be at it's lowest poin

Hermit crabs and Horseshoe crabs!
Tons of amazing little creatures in the tide pools that form. If you'd like a better look at the ecosystem and animals here head over to the Natural History Museum just up the road. They have wonderful walking trails behind the museum as well as great exhibits. Always a hit with my family. We also love being so close to the Lemon Tree Shops, The Brewster General, and many other shops and restaurants. All of them just a quick drive from Wish Me Luck Cottage. I hope you'll love it here as much as we do.
